Every day, my friend, Jill, asks a general question on her blog. One of them was "Why aren't you doing a blog?" My mom felt compelled to answer Jill's question in an email I received this morning. Her reason was that it would be selfish to do it, even though she wants to, when there are so many other things that need to be done. Well, to that I say "pa-shaw"! One, we are entitled to some self indulgence and two, it isn't really that time consuming! So, in about 20 minutes, I made her a blog! Now it is as simple as signing in and typing away! So, I ask all of you- Why aren't you doing a blog? You don't have to write every day. You don't have to say anything profound. You don't have to scan pictures or do anything fancy. The reason to blog is that you stay connected with those you care about! And it is SO easy! I find that I want to say something and have it be heard or documented, not just ignored by a babbling toddler. My mom may think what she says is tedious but what makes it tedious is that she says it to her empty nest not to someone who cares. So, welcome to the blogging world Mom! You are all invited!
