grATTITUDE
My aunt asked me to participate in the Sharing Stations at Women's Conference this year. I decided on the topic of gratitude. So, as I try to organize thoughts and ideas, I am wondering what all of you smart, funny, creative, busy women who graciously work your way through many different trials do to show thanks or to remember what you are thanful for! Please share!!

I try to be good about sending thank you notes and really expressing my thanks specifically in the note, so that it's not just a generic thank you. As I write them I'm reminded of the person's kindness towards me and it's like I'm blessed a second time.
Listing things I'm grateful for is always helpful, and life affirming too.
Reading quotes on gratitude is another favorite thing for me.
I think sometimes in our church, we overlook the blessing of meditation. Being able to take a few minutes each day to STOP and ponder your blessings can add to that feeling of gratitude.
I remember hearing someone say once that they pray to "never be guilty of ingratitude." I think that is a good thing to pray for and find myself praying for that very thing.
Gratitude journals. When you commit to write a few things every day that you're grateful for, you find so many more things you didn't realize you were grateful for. It makes your life seem full and you feel richly blessed. Love what Jill said about thank you notes. Who doesn't want to feel twice blessed?
I love the gratitude journals and I wish I were better about thank you cards. I don't think we should be grumpy about "just cookies" it still means someone thought of you...not everyone has the gift of expressing themselves as well as they would like to...I try not to let insecurities get in the way but sometimes they just do.
I want to hear more on the sharing stations? Are you teaching at one of them?
I am thinking about this, I just haven't come up with anything good to say that hasn't been said already. I'll let you know if I do!
I don't know anything about the sharing stations...that why I was curious. Give us the rundown when it is over.
How did my response not make it on? I responded at least yesterday, if not two days ago. Sorry.
What I wrote was somethign like this: Reading all of these fabulous blogs helps me identify things that I'm grateful for. I get to see the things that you all appreciate, and apply them to my life. I've also found lately that saying prayers with Kaitlin at night is a great way to remember what I'm grateful for. As I think about the things I wantto pray about I always think about the things I want to thank Heavenly Father for. That really helps me be mindful of my blessings!
i try to keep a few cards with me at chruch. i try to send at least one thank you note a week, either to the person that taught a lesson or gave a talk. it really makes me go to chruch and try to get someting out of it instead of waiting to be entertained.
i also try to teach my primary class 6 year olds about different people in our ward and we do things for them. this sunday we are surprising the primary pianst and decorating the piano with treats, photos of our class and cards the kids made last week. i believe you have to teach kids how to be greatful.
i hope this helps. i am curious about what stations are?
