boy, she's good to you!

That's what Kelly said after I dropped off Jill's May Day basket because I came back from her porch with this cute box full of ALL VANILLA tootsie rolls (a favorite!!). Generosity seems to be the topic today, and Jill is one of those truly generous people who gives you anything she can. I have left her house with a fresh batch of cookie dough, chicken to make dinner, new cards, clothes for my kids... and if I have not had something in my hands (though I would be hard pressed to remember such a time) I have had strength, comfort, sympathy or laughter in my heart.

I don't want to embarrass Jill by gushing again. I could gush about many of you! I just want to add my two cents by saying that generosity fuels generosity! and gratitude! and happiness... and I feel so blessed to be part of this reciprocal neighborhood where the simplest of gestures makes all the difference!
