I can't take it anymore!!!
I have been trying really hard to clean my house in the mornings so it is ready if someone wants to look at it. My kids think that is a total waste of time and so, they spend all day undoing what I have done. And they do it while fighting and screaming at each other.
Well, enough was enough! We needed somewhere they could run and scream and go crazy- without making ME crazy! My solution- Kangaroo Zoo.

Kangaroo Zoo is in Pleasant Grove. It is full of those big, inflatable toys and just the kind of place we needed! (Even if it cost entirely too much to get in! 8 bucks per child! Sheesh!) After the house was clean and Kate had done her reading at the rest home, we headed over and spent three glorious hours going downright wild!
Next time, I will bring a book and let the kids run. I can watch for free. But today- I joined in the fun! And I really did have fun! I had a hard time keeping up with Ethan, but I loved going down the big slides with each of my kids.

My favorite comment all day came after we had said how much fun it might be to have Ethan's birthday here and invite Angela and Micah. Soren said, with SO much enthusiasm, "Yeah! 'Cuz Angela and Micah make EVERYthing fun!"
So, we'll have to go again and take Angela and Micah. Then we'll have an even better time! :)

Looks like a fun place. Sometimes it is worth the $ to get the kids out of the house and running around, I understand! What a good sport you are to join in the fun.
That place seems like the perfect solution for 5 kids and for keeping the house clean, except for that price! I suppose the good thing about the high price is that it keeps everyone from going there all the time and making it disgusting and crowded.
I love the self-portrait and love that you got in on all the action.
I've heard from Hannah and Jessie about Kangaroo Zoo but never been there myself. You are a fun mom, proved by the fact that you were on the slides! I would want to watch from the sidelines... hooray for getting them out of the house so they couldn't undo all of your hard work!
What a fun mom you are! I probably would have sat on the side with a book. Looks like a great place.
I really like that place but it is hard to pay up, even when it is just our little family going. Totally a treat for the kids and something out of the norm. Fun mom points for sure!
