Happy (early) Birthday Harry Potter!
We started at Book One where we made our wand (a straw filled with sparkly strings and a feather).
Then we headed to Book Two where we made spiders (black pipe cleaners tied around a sucker with googly-eyes).
We braved the forbidden forest with our spiders and headed to Book Three where we used our Marauder's Map to find clues and earn a treat from Honey Duke's Sweet Shop.
Next, we competed in Book Four by completing a maze and earning our way to Book Five, where we practiced spells in the Room of Requirement (out of sight of High Inquisitor Umbridge!).
For book Six, we came up with a joke product for Fred and George Weasley to use in their store.
(Addendum: Soren proposed a sucker which turned your clothes inside out as you sucked on it and it won him a prize!)
And finally, we made a book mark to use while reading the recently released Book Seven. (Kate and I have already finished!)
At the museum, we had to go through Azkaban Prison (a real jail cell decked out with white writing and black lights!), sit through a Potions class (where they put fire in our hands),
meet a real owl and dance at the Yule ball!
All that was missing was cake! But my kids didn't miss it. They had too much fun to miss the cake!

That sounds incredible! We have nothing like that around here. What an amazing experience for you and your kids.
