March | 12 on the 12th
The new challenge at our house is having more cameras and photographers than SD cards. The storage cards keep getting moved from camera to camera and the photos never get downloaded. Finally- here is my post for March 12th.
1. I don't know if Ethan didn't want to be disturbed, so he placed Butterscotch, the giant Costco teddy bear, to bar the way OR if he was so uncomfortable sleeping on that monstrous bear, he finally moved it out from under him in the night. Either way- that bear takes up a lot of space!
2. Ethan's new favorite breakfast- creamy scrambled eggs. (Creamy means they are made with milk and lots of cheese.)
3. I had a dentist appointment to have a root canal done on my back molar. Not fun.
4. I came home and started working on Project Life. I didn't have the energy to do much after the dentist.
5. Dresses were 40% off at Old Navy, so I took a chance and ordered 6! Three for me and one for each of my girls. Since I'm documenting this late, I can tell you we were 2 for 6. Good dresses are hard to find!
6. I was finally feeling the effects of my root canal, so I got cozy on the couch with my bowl of soft macaroni and cheese, some ibuprofen and an old episode of Castle.
7. I had to pick up girls from school. There is absolutely no good way to get around the high school when the bell rings!
8. I made a new dinner- a pork chop recipe from the America's Test Kitchen Cookbook. It was a lot of work, so I may not ever make it again, even though my family liked it. Sorry family.
9. Megan made me proud by playing at her Orchestra concert tonight. She isn't loving orchestra and this concert was accompanying all the kids who wanted to perform concertos, so it was hard for her. But she practiced hard and played beautifully.
10. Went to bed with the dishwasher loaded...
11. the laundry washed and mostly folded...
12. and a little Flavia to put me to sleep!
I'm always struggling to find the last couple of pictures at night, even though we have had a busy day. The first photo should have been of driving Kate and Megan to early morning seminary, but I didn't grab my camera until it was time to wake up Ethan. And I never remember to document Kate going to work. Still- I love going back and seeing what a day in our family life looked like!

I love 12 on the 12th posts! I hate it when I miss documenting something like the early-morning drive or something, but oh well.
I haven't read that Flavia book yet. Is it new? What number is it???
