SPT- Plays Well With Others
I don't think of myself as someone who plays well. I get along with people fine, but I don't really know how to play. I wonder sometimes if I ever had any imagination- I envy it in my children. I'm pretty practical and always overwhelmed with the "to do" list. That attitude is not really conducive with playing.
Luckily, if you are a mom, then you are forced into some type of play. "Playing" around here means tea parties, tending the baby dolls, and lots & lots of dancing! I can't seem to get me in the photo, but here are Ethan and I dancing (yes, I am the prince and he is the princess! this is a "graceful" dip after many spins):
This was a good challenge for me- to remind me that my kids love to play with mom (that's me!) and that they have enough imagination for both of us! I just need to be willing to get down on the floor and PLAY! Thanks for the reminder Lelly!

It's hard to actually play with kids isn't it? I always want to be doing something else, even though it usually ends up being fun.
