Did you want to run a 5K?
As part of the city celebration where we live, there is a 5K and one mile fun run. I went to sign up our family at the city office where I was told there was a discount for each group of four. That was a problem as we were six runners, so I called Angela to see if I could convince her and Micah to run with us. They agreed which made this the third race we have run together this year!
I love having them join us for race days. They are such good sports and run with my kids. They are positive and happy and fun to be around. I never get tired of their company.
Secretly, I was hoping to make them 5K junkies so they would run with us more. I think it worked because Angela asked me if we wanted to run Lavender Days with them in two weeks!

OK, OK, I am starting my couch to 5K program tomorrow morning! Next time I'm in Utah I'm running a 5K with you!!
I think it's pretty cool that your whole family runs these races together, and no it's even more fun if Angela and Micah are joining too!
What a wonderful family activity! Eva saw the pictures with me and is speculating about running a race of her own someday.
I think it is so great that you do this with your kids and family. What a great example you are!
Way to go! I attest to Angela and Micah being fun to hang out with. I could have stayed and hung out with you guys all day after Running with Angels. I saw the balloon on the way to the Lehi parade that morning. Justin wants to run another 5K and do a bike race too. We'll see...
You guys are soooo awesome!
Wish I could be there to join the fun. Yeah, that would be standing (sitting) at the finish line waiting for my "TEAMS" to finish. I've felt out of touch for the last couple of weeks, and it's because I haven't been "online" to read about what is happening. Thank you, my precious, precious children.
You say the answer is yes and then you bailed on me for races!! That's okay. It made it possible for Micah and I to attend our Primary Activity that morning and not be late. We will run again in the future.
