One can pay back the loan of gold,
but one dies forever in debt
to those who are kind.
~Malayan Proverb

This is a HUGE thank you for Jill who, TWICE, lifted my spirits this week by her kindness and thoughtfulness.

On Thursday, she called to see if I was home. I was, but only for half an hour before running off to Orem at 4:00, to get a present for the wedding reception at 6:00, which I was leaving early to get to Stake Leadership Training back in Lehi at 7:00... in terms of getting anything taken care of, it had been a terrible day- remember the naked barbie man and fruit loops? So, when she showed up at my door with a shake from Iceberg (I am SO sorry for you if you don't live by one!), I was just delighted! One, caramel cures all! And two, she had thought of me even though she was on a field trip for Whitney! Doesn't that just totally make your day when you know someone squeezed you in to their crazy life!!
Then, after we got home Friday night (about 10pm), I was telling Kelly he had a package, with my usual grumbling voice, and he said, "Your day is about to get better" and handed me a package from Jill! I STILL love good mail! It was full of pictures, treats, cute chipboard letters and as always- a caring and sincere note which, even at only three inches square, does WONDERS for cheering me up!
Thanks Jill! Your kindness got me through the week!

Jill is good that way and for some reason her gifts always arrive at the best time. She is fabulous.

1. that quote is amazing -- so true!

2. What do you mean, you still love good mail? Come on, will it ever get old? I think not.

3. Those chipboard letters are about the cutest thing I've ever seen.

We can all count ourselves lucky to have Jill in our lives.
