We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet

There were so many great messages in this 179th General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I can't wait to read them in the Ensign magazine next month (always my favorite issue).

But I wanted to document what may seem like a small thing, for myself and for my children-

At the conclusion of the Sunday morning session, as the Tabernacle Choir sang the hymn, "We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet," and as I watched the pictures of President Monson visiting and serving around the world- the Holy Ghost testified to me that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet of God on the earth today. At that moment- I had absolutely NO doubt that it was true.

I feel so blessed to live at a time when the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth- including priesthood power, saving ordinances, and prophets who know God's plan and testify of His infinite love.

I Thank Thee, O God, for a prophet- for President Thomas S. Monson.

I love this! I really enjoyed that photo montage at the end -- I don't remember ever seeing them do that before.
