Go Knights!
I have only been able to attend one game with everyone's Saturday commitments, but it was at Juan Diego High School on a REAL field and it was SO fun to watch!!
Soren is playing defensive corner and had two AWESOME deflections in the game. He is still working on the tackling part- the practice dummy is not quite the same as a real person, but the reality is that I'm in no hurry for him to start leveling kids to the ground.
I think the coolest part is reading his name on his jersey from the bleachers. I don't know why, but I love it! And I love the smile on this kid's face when he plays!

That kid needs some hips if he's going to keep those pants up. I still can't believe they let boys throw each other to the ground at such a young age. Although, Ethan probably gives Soren good practice.
Enjoy it while it lasts. Soon he'll be big and the hits will be painful to watch, not cute.
Wow. thats so neat! I would be so scared to let my son tackle!
Be brave...he'll do great!!
Where is his butt?
Um, that's freaking adorable!
PS Jill, neither of my boys have butts either. Weird, right?
(Wednesday?!)
I'm afraid of tackle football. So afraid. Lucas is interested in football, so I hope he'll be satisfied with flag...
I do think I would enjoy seeing his name on the back of a jersey, though! Who doesn't like seeing their name?
I'm not telling Justin that Soren is playing. He told me he wanted to play but darn it, that was after the registration deadline. Justin wants to play Lacrosse like Soren too.
