STAR of the week

It is Soren's turn to be the star of the week in his Kindergarten class. This is the poster I helped him make. He picked all the colors then stamped his name, he picked what photos to use and where everything went, he drew all the pictures, and wrote most of the words. He is really proud of it and of course, is VERY excited to share it with his class today! I am often annoyed by these projects, and I wonder what parents do who don't have all the supplies I have! But, never fails, I learn something about my kids in the process. Soren had very definite opinions about how his poster would look (budding designer?) and his favorite tv show is The Price is Right. I know he watches it in the morning, but favorite? Go figure! So, Soren, I love you! You really are a STAR!!

too funny. The Price is Right? Who would have guessed? I kind of dread these projects, too, but then it's all worth it when my kids feel so pleased with themselves. Go Soren!

That is an extremely cute photo of Soren with the poster, and the poster is great. He's a character for sure, but The Price is Right is a big surprise to me. Too funny.

I'm glad that Soren had ideas and helped with the poster. I absolutely hate making those -- especially because I usually forget until the night before. It looks great, though.

Price Is Right was my favorite show when I was little, too. I think because it was on when I would stay home sick from school.

The poster is awesome and very cool that he had an opinion. I often think boys don't care, but what do I know right?

I get annoyed with projects at school that absolutely can't be done without a parents help. It frustrates me.

I remember as a kid loving to watch the price is right. I know there are boys in my neighborhood that get up early to get their chores done so they can get together and watch it. I think that is hilarious.

Where's my comment? I swear--the Internet! What I meant to post yesterday is that it's amazing how children have such decided opinions about things. I love that Soren had certain things he wanted to do. Of course, your creativity must have rubbed off on your children. You can't be a creative as you are without your children haveing definite ideas of thier own.

I loved seeing this picture of him and his project. But I can't read the details and would love to know what's on his lists. I cast my vote: Soren is a Star!!

Jenn, he is darling. My sister kids love the Price is Right too, what up with that? I find it endearing and sometimes frustrating that kids have such definite opinions at such an early age. Kids amaze me.
