Do NOT leave your house today!

Holy cow- I ran to Forget Me Not this morning to get another Paper Holder (I've collected a LOT of paper as of late! Are any of you as in love with Crate Paper as me?!!) Anyway- it is only about 6 miles round trip for me and in that time I saw 2 police officers, I'm sure they were just waiting for speeders on my "back road", and 2 accidents!
The first accident was right in front of Forget Me Not and must have happened just minutes before I came because I watched from inside the store as police officers and an ambulance arrived. As I was leaving, a teenage girl was being loaded onto a stretcher.
The second accident was on my back road at a new four way stop. NO fenders left on either car and totally blocking the intersection!
I am home now, feeling so happy that I was able to get home safely and so grateful that the only reason to leave again today is to pick kids up from school!

I went to post this and saw that I had not posted since Monday. It made me sad. But I have not had a lot to blog about. I babysat for a family so the parents could go to the temple. (They will do it for us on Saturday.) I had a presidency meeting. I've almost got my craft room back in working order. We've read a lot for our read-a-thon...

Nothing really worth blogging about. But I do have posts in the works!
  • I am SO loving Michelle's post about finding a single word to encompass your intentions/desires/goals for the new year (forget that it was inspired by Ali Edwards because Michelle's post is SO beautiful!) I'm still working on mine.
  • I love the 100 Things post everyone has written! I thought between my happy list and birthday list, I didn't need to write one. But the more of them I read, the more I want to do this! So, I've started my own 100 list!
  • I got a birthday present from Amy M. and want to get the picture before I write about it.
So, I'll get to blogging. For today though, I am just hoping that each of you is safe and warm!

Yuck! I hate seeing so much traffic mayhem. I'm glad you made it to and fro in safety.

Does Forget Me Not have the new Valentine paper? I saw it online and I have to have it!

Thanks for the catch up post. It's good to hear about your life even if you don't think it's blog worthy! (It is by the way.)

I'm glad you made it out and back home safely today. People drive like maniacs. I saw the aftermath of a huge wreck in front of Robert's the other day, and that's not even a major intersection! Good grief.

I'm glad you have multiple posts in the works, that's good news.

I get so freaked out in the winter when I see accidents. I can do ok until then after that, I am a mess! So glad you got home safe!

I'm excited about your posts in the works too. I have loved everyone's 100 list, it is so easy to feel like you know them after reading it.

I'm thinking on a word too. It is tougher than I thought.

I hate the crazy drivers.

I can't wait to read your 100 list, I too have loved them and am composing my own list, on paper, it's been kind of fun and eye opening and now I'm stumped.

I really enjoyed Michelle's post too and have been thinking of a word but I haven't decided on one. Good luck.

We were out all day Saturday and it was crazy the construction and accidents we saw. Good that all was well with you. Looking forward to your "word" and "100 list".

I'm glad you are blogging again. I had 3 new post to look at...

The dentist visits come around way too often around here! I'm glad you could make a cute post out of it.

I love the read a thon. I may have to create our own. Mostly because I want a day to be in the cozy and reading a good book.
