good mail

I do not "get" my camera. It has all sorts of settings that I have not learned how to use yet. AND it is a battery killer! So, I'm sorry for taking so long to post this but I finally have a picture of the present Amy M. sent me!
Isn't it wonderful! I think Amy is genius! And her genius is simplicity. I make things so complicated and involved. Amy keeps things clean, uncluttered and beautiful! When I think what can I add, she thinks what needs to be taken away... until you are left with something real, something that warms your heart.
I love the words she used- it is another way of reminding me that I want to have a life I love and make the most of each day. THANK YOU SO MUCH Amy!!

I also received these thank you cards from Amy W. and Michelle. I LOVE the red paisley from Amy! Her sweet and generous words made it worth every minute spent on her pink christmas gift! And can you get over how brilliant Michelle's card is- with the stitching and the stamped word... I LOVE getting mail from Michelle, who also says such nice things you can't help but smile for hours! When I need a pick me up, I pull out a card from Michelle. Or Jill, who also sent me a really kind thank you card, but I have misplaced it in all my piles of things to do. (I carried it around all day because I was having a lousy day and kept reading it to make me feel better!)

So, thank you friends for the wonderful treasures of kindness that came in my mailbox! I appreciate it SO much!

What a difference a card makes. :)

I'm glad you liked it and sorry it was so late. I appreciate your kind words, but feel you give me too much credit. I saw the quote in pottery barn mag and loved it and thought you might too.

That gift from Amy is pure genius! I love that, love the simplicity of it. I would have wrecked it by cluttering it up with stuff. Awesome.

Yes, the simplicity is painfully beautiful. And the fact that she incorporated something from the Pottery Barn catalog. . .well, I always wonder what people mean by finding inspiration everywhere.

That is all good mail indeed. Though, it's just a reminder to me of all the good mail I have planned, but not yet carried out! Maybe next week. . . .
