do something creative ALMOST every day!

I have been waiting to post about the projects that ar e finally finished AND delivered! Book club got together last night for my birthday dinner and I was able to give my surprise to my wonderful friends!! {I had read the idea in an issue of Real Simple to give a present to your friends on your birthday and of course, LOVED that idea.} Now that they have seen them, I can show you what I've been doing!
My book club gift wasn't anything big, but I found these cool letter magnets at Robert's back in November. I have wanted to decorate them but never found the time. I love Paper Source's motto to "do something creative everyday" and when I decided to take some control and choose to make a life I loved, I knew this had to be part of it. So, I have done something creative almost every day since. Including these magnets!! Some days, it is minimal. And I am always slow, but I love my days so much more when I make that effort to work in my happy place!

Here are some of my other projects:

For Kate, made to match her new beddingFor Megan, made to match her new bedding Angela and Micah's late Christmas present (it took me forever to find clock hands small enough!! and the idea is a total copy of Michelle's shadow box for Jill's birthday a couple of years ago!!)

I made two shadow boxes for Emily but can't find the pictures. I also organized some of my digital photos while watching movies with Kelly. (Can I just mention how much I love Mission Impossible and Mission Impossible 3!! MI 2 and World Trade Center- ehh.) I am now working on a book for Kelly's parents and Good Mail. And I am loving creative time! Those people at Paper Source are really on to something!!

Your projects are always so cute. It makes me wish I was part of your book club. What a great idea! My SIL gave my MIL flowers on her birthday. She said she gave her the "gift" of life. How sweet is that?

I wish I did do a creative project a day. Your stuff is so inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

I love that you are making time to do something creative everyday. If you can do it no one has an excuse not to.

Those magnets are SO cute. Of course your packaging is always as cute as the gift itself!

I love the cute framed initials for your girls, I may have to copy that for Jessica.

Your crafts are so stinkin cute!! I love the magnets and the boxes! What lucky girls in your book club! I have done something creative the past couple days and it has been a stress reliever. I have actually looked forward to doing my chores so I could create!

Now I just need to figure out how to get all the laundry done at the same time!

Your projects are fantastic (as always)! I love my cute red "J" magnet and have it hanging on my fridge right now. Your shadow boxes look beautiful, you're on a roll and I love seeing what you're working on.

I love to see your handiwork. I wish I could crawl inside your brain and see how it works and where the ideas come from.
You are so generous with your time, talents, and love. Add your creativity and you have a recipe for never-ending happiness. Thanks for sharing the joy!

Popped over from Jill's-- had to see who was so sweet to bring a shake for cheering up. Very thoughtful of you! Can't wait to tour around the rest of your blog.

Love all of the projects. The letter magnets are adorable! I think I have it in me to be somewhat creative but certainly not to the level of you and Jill and Kristi and Michelle.

The projects are brilliant, one and all! I love my magnet and you know I am loving all those rub-ons SO much...

What a great idea you came up with for using the other shadow-box frames! So cute.

Your welcome box turned out so cute it might just put mine to shame. Where did you eventually find the clock hands?

I have always loved your creative ideas and the flair you have. I love the colors and the fun you must have had. I want to come and play at your house. I need to find the desire or rather the motivation to do something creative every day, I do love that Paper Source.
