Happy Birthday Kathryn!

My sister, Kathryn, turns 26 today. She had to call my house so my husband could tell her happy birthday. How lame is that?! It was just one of those days- I thought about her all day long, but never made it to the phone.

My family went to see the BYU Blue and White Spring Game because my husband bleeds blue AND my cousin, Jace, was playing (about 6 plays at the end of the game since he stands all of 5' 7" tall!)
Then I went shopping at the mall- a very long ordeal! It was a chance to shop for my Paris trip and finally use my gift certificates from my birthday!
I got home late and Kathryn had already called and was on her way out for dinner or something, so I missed her. But,
I didn't forget her! So, in honor of her big day, here are 26 random things about Kathryn.

1. She LOVES to read. Her favorite at one time was Dickens.
2. She is the skinny sister.
3. She slept on a foam pad under our piano as a toddler. (Despite the piano, it was because we were dirt poor not because she was weird.)
4. She worked at Old Navy when my girls were little- that was nice!
5. She now works at the same Jr. High as her husband.
6. She loves food. Most Sauter's do!
7. She is a hard worker. Right now she is working full time and going to school.
   
8. She lived with Kelly and me for a summer while she attended BYU.
9. She now lives in Phoenix. If you call her in the summer, you will hear her swear about the heat.
10. She has broken her arm. (Long story!)
11. She has a witty sense of humor.
12. She collects tea cups.
13. She has long eyelashes! (She and my brothers. How is that fair?)
14. She went to Europe when she was in high school.
15. She is adventurous- at least she fakes it really well since her husband definitely is!
16. She can't stand stupid people. (You've been warned.)
17. She loves to read. (I know I already said it, but she loves it enough to mention it twice! Food too, but I'll restrain.)
18. She is not very tall but has long legs. (Another Sauter curse, I mean trait.)
19. She tells you what she thinks!
20. She is a beautiful singer.
21. She doesn't like her ears. She thinks she looks like Dopey.
22. She has vacationed with us in San Diego/Disneyland, Seattle, Las Vegas and on our cruise to Mexico last November.
23. She helped Eva Longoria shop when she worked at Macy's Department store.
24. She has fixed my hair for me (or my girls') more times than she should have to. (Have I mentioned how thankful I am for that Kathryn?!!)
25. She was in a car crash (not her fault) when Angela, my Mom and I were going with her to find a wedding dress!
26. She is a supportive, sympathetic and encouraging sister! And I love her!
