Spring Break
Remember the days when "spring break" meant wonderful, glorious freedom from homework, early mornings, and annoying teachers? Well after this week, I am ready for the mommy version of spring break! Freedom from making breakfast, lunch and dinner; entertaining bored kids; and listening to whining and fighting all day long! (Oh yeah- I'm going to Paris!! Boy do I need that!)

I told my kids we could do some fun things IF they went through all their clothes and picked up their rooms. I forget what a chore it is to sort clothes- does it still fit? will it fit someone else? try it on. take it off. tears over outgrowing a favorite shirt... It took two days when I had hoped it would take one. And we still had rooms to clean!

Eventually, the work got done. I was so happy to check those things off the list! And we even had some fun. But now, I am just so excited for my spring break! Paris, here I come!

It's always upsetting that the need to sort and organize comes around so often, but what a glorious feeling it is when it's all finished. It's great that you took before and after pictures, that will help motivate everyone next time right?
oh my, organizing the clothes. weekly laundry and outgrown clothes are so hard for me to deal with.
