Ignoring Reality
My kitchen was a health code violation. My bathrooms still are. There are piles of books, papers and toys in every room. I found a fabulous house that won't wait while we sell ours but we have decided to have our house ready to sell by June 15th. Add, Ethan's constant demands, problems and programs for Primary and having to make dinner and I am a wreck. Discouraged, depressed, short tempered... not very fun to be around.
I have been trying to work on my house for three days and that gets me nowhere. I don't want to organize my Primary. I don't want to play any more of Ethan's computer games... So, today, I am ignoring all my responsibilities, which will probably make tomorrow worse, but it's what I'm doing. And I am choosing to catch up on my blog.
I have been composing posts and even taking pictures the whole time I have been "gone" but I just didn't ever get them posted. So, I'm posting them as if I had kept up. Don't freak out that you didn't see a post- it wasn't there. Don't feel like you have to catch up- this is for me, so I can remember what happened in the month of April- isn't that so lame to have missed a whole month! Good Grief. Life was not really that bad! At least, not on the calendar. But I felt busier than I had since Christmas.
Luckily, all is not lost- it was just misplaced on scraps and in planners. Today, starting with the March 26th SPT, everything will find its home on my blog, where it should have been in the first place. Hopefully, this will help me to feel a little more caught up with life and make it possible to move on with current events. I'm already feeling in less of a funk! :)

I just barely cleared my island of all papers, etc. that accumulated while I was gone. It's now my room that needs major help. Sadly, that tends to be the last room that I get to.
I'm in a bit of a funk, too.
ok now this is impressive! i am so thrilled to get caught up with you! i have been off a bit myself but trying to get caught up, as well!
here goes...
Catching up on your blog is a great way to spend a day (or week really). The cleaning will always be there to do and this is investing in yourself and is a gift for your family as well, so it's equally important. I'm glad you're letting yourself do it.
Yeah for all the catch ups. I write posts all the time in my head and then never finish them. What a great way to get out of a funk!
