For the Love of my Son
My son, Soren, LOVES football. Especially BYU football. His enthusiasm is growing each day as the season gets closer and closer. The problem is- he asks me questions and tries to talk to me about the game and I don't have any answers! I know the basic rules and who is the quarterback but what on earth is a tightend and where is he on the field? How do I know if "phooey- something-or-other" is playing this year?
So, in an effort to communicate with my son about something he LOVES- I am signed up for this:
My friends, Collette and Jana, attended last year and had a great time despite my jeers and snickering. Well, it's my turn to play and their turn to snicker which, if you've ever seen me throw a football, you'll know is truly laughable!
The reason for posting this now is that there is still time to sign up! All you cute BYU fans, with sons or not, come JOIN me!! Just click on the link and it will take you right to the registration form. You can mail it in or call right NOW!! It costs $25 but that includes dinner and a t-shirt! SO come on-it will be way more fun if you are laughing with me instead of at me! And I promise not to laugh at you (too hard)!
