SPT- Eyes in the Back of My Head
I had planned on taking a picture of all the candy wrappers in the couch that my children think I don't know they take without asking!
Then I thought I might take a picture of the mess that always ensues when I leave a room.
But,
I turned around from sitting at my computer this afternoon to see this tender moment:

It is not a great quality picture, I took it from far away so I wouldn't interrupt. But I was so happy to catch a glimpse of this exchange between my oldest and my youngest! Kate was helping Ethan recognize his letters on the magna doodle. Ethan was snuggled up against her with a huge smile on his face. Both were laughing and enjoying the closeness of the other.
If I really had eyes on the back of my head, I would have seen this easily. It made me wonder what else I would see. After seeing Kate and Ethan, I am hopeful that instead of always causing trouble, maybe, just maybe, there are more wonderful moments like this one happening behind my back then I know!

i love capturing moments like these. sometimes, they seem very few and far between. but when you stumble upon them, they can literally stop time.
How sweet! Don't you just love it when the kids get along... What a good big sister!
I guess this is why we have children these sweet moments in between chaos!
What a sweet moment! You were so lucky to catch it. Sometimes I forget to stop and enjoy the little moments in life!
Our children really can be sweet when they want to be. Keep this picture handy so you can remind yourself that the next time they are screaming at each other.
I love the mega zoom on my camera for that very reason...being able to capture the little things that seem to hang on such a delicate brief moment. Very cute picture!
Cute picture Jenn, what a great moment to catch!
What a cute picture. It is always nice to see that going on. I have 4 kids and I would like to think that they are sometimes like that with one another. :-) By the way the house is beautiful.
This is one of those moments Elder Ballard was talking about where we find the joy of motherhood!
I LOVE when I catch Jayden or Tegan helping a younger sibling. It warms my heart to know that they love each other so much...even behind my back!
What a tender moment. Some of my favorite pics of my kids are of Luci reading to Griffin.
