WAHOO!!

while doing a victory dance,

"Go Jenn! Go Jenn! Go. Go. GO JENN!!"

(OK. So, this is not actually me, but...)

I finished a solid 20 minute run tonight! 20! Yes, 2-0, TWENTY minutes!

Now, all you runners- stop your laughing! This is the first time since I was a sophomore in High School and had to pass off the mile run that I have run for any sustained amount of time. And in case you couldn't guess, that was a long time ago for me! So, I am dang proud of it! I have successfully finished week 5 of my 5K training!

Wahoo!!

AWESOME! That is really great Jennifer- it's hard to build up the stamina and it feels so good to hit a milestone like that! I'm proud of you!

I went without running for two weeks and now have to start all over again. Bummer.

Jenn...I just found my way over to you via Jill. Hope you don't mind.

Congratulations on your being able to run for 20 minutes straight! I just started running this week and I think I can run about 3 minutes straight. I know...baby steps right!

Good luck with your training!

Congratulations! That's a long time to run, especially if you haven't done so for almost 20 years! I couldn't do it!

Congrats! I'm not even sure I did that in HS even though I'm sure I could have. Now I know better, I'd need much more than 5 weeks of training. Keep it up, you're a great example!

I'm impressed. Congrats! I could not do 20 right now. Tell me how long did it take to work up to that point? I'm considering a 10k next year and I wonder if I should start running now.
