MORE Friday Night Folies
I was given tickets to the Desert Star Playhouse four months ago, for my birthday. I was finally able to use them last night to see American Fork Idol with some friends. The show was a spoof on American Idol and it was very funny.
When I told my daughter, Emily, that a spoof was when people made fun of something to make you laugh, she asked me if I bought the tickets. I said, "No, they were a gift." She was very relieved and said to me, "That makes sense because it doesn't sound like something you would do yourself." What's she saying?!! It's true- I don't have a strong sense of humor. But I'm not a bump on a log! I laugh. And I laughed at the show-it was funny.
Even more entertaining though are my friends! They really make me laugh! Just like it is never helpful to explain a joke, it won't help if I try to explain the antics of the night. Suffice it to say, racing to Smart Cookie and deciding "What is something you should never say out loud?" will be good memories for a long time!

Hee, hee...look at Matt. How proud is he to have barely beat you into the store?!
That was a lot of fun, I've never gone on a date night with you and Kelly before and we had a great time. Next time, my house! (Happy Belated Birthday...)
Sounds like fun. I'd like to hear more about it.
That was such a fun night we need to do it more often. I enjoyed visiting with you guys. If we hadent been reminded that it was 2a.m. I could have visited all night.
Good times.
Emily's comment cracked me up. I think you have a great sense of humor! I've seen you laugh until you cried more times than I can count...
I was wondering what AF Idol was. Too funny!
