sparkly clean!

I LOVE this thing! I think it is my favorite cleaning tool! I finally decided to clean house yesterday (it just isn't a gift for some of us). No matter how much I scrubbed the crayon on the wall, the pencil on my craft room door or the dirt on the bottom of my tub... I couldn't get them all the way clean. Then I pulled this little sponge out and WOW! My tub is SO white! I don't know how this thing works, but it does and I love my tub again! I still don't love cleaning though. It took me ALL day to do three bathrooms (which didn't get mopped), dust and vaccum my bedroom, and wash a couple walls/doors after Soren and Emily tried to help. Then, no one noticed or said thanks AND when I was gone last night, the kids spilled the entire contents of my bathroom cabinet on the floor! So, really- what is the point? It never gets done and no one but me seems to care! I did feel some severe satisfaction at having done the job so maybe if my kids can touch up this week with my other favorite, clorox wipes, I'll clean again next week. But don't hold your breath!

I hope you weren't expecting the kids to thank you for cleaning, that's not the way of the universe. The personal satisfaction and sense of well-being is what motivates me to clean (and the germ fighting). The Magic Eraser is truly magic so now that you have the power you won't have to do battle with your sinks or tub any longer. As for the fun of cleaning my advice is to blast fun music all through the house (we listen to The Best of Queen).

I am a HUGE fan of the magic eraser! With three kids who have all gone through stages of coloring all over everything, it has been a life saver. Or at least a paint/floor/door/dresser saver. It got Sharpie drawings off my new wood floors! I'm glad you've discovered the joy of the magic eraser. :)

I totally understand your frustration. The satisfaction of having cleaned is SO short-lived! And no one else seems to notice or care. I would enjoy it much more if it could last for more than, oh, 15 minutes.

I like the magic erasers too. Does anyone else feel like they take the finish off of the wall? Not the paint but I feel like it loses something....hard to explain I guess.
