simply...THANKS!

This should be a rotten week. I had to go to the dentist's office three times (once for Megan, once for me and once for Soren). They wasted 6 hours of my week to do 1 hour worth of work. I missed my visiting teachers because of the dentist. My dishwasher broke. My children are NOT listening to what I ask them. Ethan is still preventing me from accomplishing anything when I have multiple things every day... And yet, it has been such a nice week! I received timely and wonderful mail this week, from Jill and from Michelle, twice! I ran into Jessie at Pebbles and she let me ramble. I met with friends for Jana's birthday celebration which was GREAT food, GREAT conversation and all around GREAT fun! Collette brought us gifts from her cruise. Kelly left work just about every day this week to help me with things... I think it is so amazing, how a little kindness erases so much anger, frustration and annoyance! Thanks to each of you, whose kindness made my week so nice!!

{The super cute star cups are from Jill. They are very much something I would have picked for myself if I had seen them- I love how well she knows me! Can you believe the cuteness of the orange purse from Michelle?! I think orange is giving red a run for its money in the favorite color category. And, I don't think I can find the right words to express the excitement I feel when I think of using the purse next week on my trip with NO kids!! When you're a mom of five, you don't carry a cute, little bag. I can't wait!!}

Simply You're Welcome! You've had a crazy week to go with your crazy months and crazy years. I don't know how you do it all and stay sane. I'm glad good mail helps ease the frustrations of it all.

Yay! I wondered if you'd ever be able to use a regular purse rather than a diaper bag or just a really big bag. And I didn't even know about your trip when I sent it, so that was just really good timing. Love the cups and love that Kelly can leave work to help you.

It's fabulous you received gifts this week when you really needed something to lift your spirits or make you feel sane. So great what you do for each other.

Fun! I saw those cups at Jill's house last week. They really are cute. And there's nothing like a cute new purse to take on a childless vacation! Maybe it was reading your post on Friday that made me want to get a new purse for my little weekend away. (I didn't but boy did I want one!)

That is a really cute purse, and I agree with you on orange making a good showing for favorite color. I just bought an orange swimming suit!
I hope you have a wonderful time in Dallas without your kids. I wish I was coming too!!
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. You have amazing friends. The thoughtfulness between all of you is truly remarkable.

Just so you know, it's been 2 whole weeks since your last post! I was only gone for 2 days. Lock yourself in the room and set the timer so the kids know you'll come out of there when it rings. We miss you.
