Paper + Friends = FUN!!

It seems easier to post this now and MAYBE I can get a nap tomorrow- I mean today.

My sweet friends- Sheryl, Steph-1 and Steff-2, came and made books with me tonight. We set up in the bonus room but had to make 40 trips back to the craft room for supplies and tools. It took longer than I thought it would- of course,
  • we had to show Steph my new house since she hadn't been here...
  • we had to laugh a lot which makes cutting and glueing a little slow...
  • we had to eat cupcakes from Dipidee- who can turn down Chocolate Hazlenut or Raspberry Lemonade cupcakes?...
  • we had to bleed a little- but NOT on the carpet...
  • we had to see pictures of Debbie's super cute baby boy (Congratulations Debbie!!)...
  • and we had to take our own pictures- or at least Sheryl did. I only ended up with this one at the end of our long night. But no worries, Sheryl shares (sometimes).
(Sheryl, Stephanie, Steffanie and Jenn- still smiling at 1 a.m.)

My two regrets are 1- how late I kept my friends up! Steph-1 is usually in bed by ten and Steff-2 just had surgery. Sorry Ladies!! And 2- I had to go outside to punch holes in our covers which meant I missed out on some good conversation. But it is okay because all three of my friends left with something that looked like a book! I'm sure they will add to them but books they made!! And fun we had! Of course, you can't really go wrong with cute paper AND cute friends!! I can't wait until next time!

Sounds like good times. You still need to show me how to do creative projects!

I really like digital scrapbooking because I get to experiment with layouts and accessories without wasting any materials.

I really hate digital scrapbooking because no matter how hard I try I cannot get depth and dimension on a 2-D surface.

Sorry I missed it. (Again, with the surprise family in town) I promise not to miss it next time.
