Class of 2007
It has been 10 years since I graduated from Brigham Young University. Today, I headed back to my alma matter for another graduation- my sister, Angela, and her husband, Micah, both walked in the Commencement Exercises at the Marriott Center.

Angela finished finals yesterday and is VERY excited about graduating and not ever having to do homework again! Micah has to finish one more semester and seemed much more subdued about the whole thing. But they both looked great and I am so happy for both of them!! (The end is near Micah!!)
After Commencement, we went to dinner at McGrath's Fish House. It was a long, slow meal (we were there about two hours!) and absolutely delightful!

Kelly stayed home with my kids so I could enjoy being with my family (he is SO great that way!) My mom and dad are here, Ben took off early from work to come, and Micah has actually been in Texas so it is SO wonderful to have him back in the mix! We talked and laughed and shared good food (sharing off your plate is a requirement if you eat with us!) It was a really great night together and such a great achievement to be celebrating!
{Funny Moment: Kelly and I played Settlers of Catan with Angela and Micah last night. Angela had a good move and said she was able to do it because she was a college graduate. Micah was next and didn't have a very good turn so Kelly said, maybe it would have been a good turn if Micah had actually graduated! then, my favorite line, Angela added, Don't worry Micah, the joke will be over in four months!! HA! HA!!}

I so badly wanted to be there yesterday! I'm so excited for Angela and Micah! Congratulations to both of them! (And yes, I already changed my side bar.)
That joke during the game is hilarious! I can't see that getting old at all for anyone BUT Micah. :D Too funny.
You sound so happy, I love it. How fun to have a day to celebrate with your family. I can only imagine the thrill of having college behind me (I quit WAY before getting to feel it for real!).
What a great day for your family! How fun for them to get to graduate on the same day, even if Micah isn't completely finished yet. I can imagine it wasn't quite the relief for him as for Angela! I'm so glad you got to just be with your family and enjoy the day with no other responsibilities.
