November 1st: Family
When Jill was here for Creative Friday, I told her that deadlines are a big motivator for me. Since blogging doesn't really have a deadline, it is easy to overlook and next thing you know- it's been a week or a month since my last post. For November, I am going to try something different. I am setting a deadline of sorts-- I am going to post something I am thankful for every day.
Today, I am thankful for FAMILY.
(June 2010- minus a sleeping Avery and Val & Zoe who went home early)
I know that's not news to anyone. I post a lot about my family and how wonderful they are. But today I really am so grateful for them. They are on my mind for many reasons- I've been sorting the 2000 photos from our cruise with Angela and Micah, David and Kristy, and my Mom and Dad... Utah family was just here for Halloween fun on Friday and Sunday dinner together... Those who have moved away were sorely missed... I received an update on my dad this morning which always has some good news, but also some bad news about his health... I've been looking through my blog (I was checking to see if I had already tried this idea and failed before trying again to post every day in November) and I found so many great photos and stories from our times together...
I am thankful for my family.

I think I've said this before, but can you adopt me! I always love hearing about your wonderful, crazy family.
I thought about doing a grateful post every day this month, too, but then I figured I couldn't keep it up. Maybe just a few thrown in! I like your ambition.
It's crazy that your family is that big! I had to click on the picture to see everyone to make sure it was just your side of the family!
It was also fun to look at all the t-shirts being worn, 2 Cookie Monsters and a McLovin, that's funny.
