What color do you bleed?

Kelly has been going to BYU football games for as long as he can remember. He still goes with his mom and dad (thanks dad!!), but now he gets to take a kid or two of his own to the game. Today is the first game of the season and that is always exciting! He and Soren left a little while ago so they can enjoy all the pre-game activities and they won't leave until the last minute has been played! I love thinking about three generations of BYU fans sitting together singing the fight song. sigh.

Our ability to all attend the game, and even watch it, may be limited. But at our house, we definitely bleed blue!
Rah! Rah! Rah-Rah-Rah!
Rah! Rah! Rah-Rah-Rah!
Goooooooo, Cougars!

Are you telling me blue isn't the natural color of blood? I'm not sure I believe you. What better color is there?

I'm jealous of Soren today. I wish I was at the game, but all the student All Sport passes sold out this year. Micah and I don't have tickets to any game. SAD!

I love the fall season, the usual crispness in the air, football games, especailly the night ones and hot dogs. Good memories.

Jenn, we are blessing Stella tomorrow and my brother in law said he could not drive up until after the game if we didn't get it on our TV here. He had to call three times to make sure we could get it and had an alternate location where he could watch it if our home didn't work for some reason.. I think he bleeds blue and white for sure!

Marc and I both went to BYU and of course now he works there. Can you believe we don't care about the football games?? (I did enjoy going to a few when I was a student, though.)

I went to BYU too, and to all the football games. But my high school colors were blue and gold, and I feel even greater loyalty to the purple and gold of the U of Washington where my brother played, so I have to say I have a bit of gold in my blue blood.

You need to send the camera with Kelly next time so we can see the action from his perspective. I think it's cool that he gets so into the games and love it that he goes with his dad and his son.

We aren't sports fans around here... Jimmy likes to play but not so much watch. I usually root for BYU but we are Whittingham fans so we follow Utah more than we used to.

I would have said something like Scott is like a kid at Christmas this time of year. I love tailgating but not so much the game. He is a big PSU fan. Me not so much. We both love our alma mater though so we cheer together on those games!!!!! woowoo!

Hope you are enjoying football season.

I went to Utah State so I am one of the few people around here that doesn't have a preference. :) It depends what company I am around. I tend to give in to peer pressure. :)
