family fun
Although I have had to arrange and rearrange my schedule many times to accommodate my family, it has been a lot of fun having them around the last two weeks! Here are a few of the highlights:
- Angela and Micah's graduation from Brigham Young University
- Watching David, Nate and Angela play volleyball
- Little America's Sunday Brunch
- Any time we eat together!
- Ethan playing the chase game with the adults
- Swimming at Grandpa(ma)'s motel (even if it was FREEZING)
- Chili's and a movie (we split between Harry Potter 5 and The Bourne Ultimatum)
- Visiting with my Aunt Suzanne and my Aunt Rhonda.
- Playing Frog Juice (a card game)
- Cold Stone for ice cream
- Ocean's Thirteen at "the sticky foot" (our dollar theater)
- Thanksgiving Gardens
- Grandma reading to my kids
- Grandpa holding Emily when her friend wanted to "end their friendship" (her words, not mine!)
- Remembering past homes, old friends, and how things used to be!
It is always a lot of work to figure out what we want to do and then to coordinate people, schedules and cars. At the end of every visit I am tired and glad to go back to just coordinating my own kids. But I also can't wait for the next time we get together and hope that it is sooner than later!

It's nice to have you back blogging again. It must have been crazy getting ready for the kids to go back to school at the same time as all these family festivities going on. It's a good thing you're so good at organizing events and people, I'm sure you made it all run smoothly.
Also, I've never heard of Frog Juice, is it something that would be fun for game night?
You are such a good sport, Jenn. I am the same as you -- I get frustrated with the waiting and the re-arranging but when all is said and done, I am anxiously awaiting the next opportunity to play with my family!
Your list is impressive -- you guys squeezed in a lot of fun together.
That is a huge list- especially to have all that going on with school just barely starting. Wow.
Jenn, hope you'll forgive my hubby as he cleaned out the garage. So the Boxes are gone. All was done before I came home from some errands. I can help find some when I am out and about.
Sounds like a wonderful two weeks. Wish I could have been there!
Wow I am impressed my lady. You've got a lot going on and you've manage to do it all. Perhaps you could give some lessons on organization and planning?
It can be frustrating at times when families in town, but at the end of it I don't want them to go and can't wait for next year.

How wonderful you were able to spend some quality time with your family.
I had a great week with you and your family. Thanks for all the fun activities, and for taking pictures. And for clearing your calendar for us. I'm sure you had better things to do, but I appreciated every minute with you.
